A 7-day Fly & Drive to the Canadian Rocky Mountains. It starts and ends in Calgary, the cowboy capital. It includes the National Parks of the Canadian Rockies (Banff, Jasper and Yoho) and the Canadian Badlands.

Day 1 Fly & Drive Canadian Rocky Mountains & Badlands: Calgary - Drumheller.

Upon your arrival in Calgary, pick up your rental car and head to Drumheller, the “Dinosaur Capital of the World”. Drumheller is located in the heart of the Canadian Badlands, also known as the "Dinosaur Valley" because some of the most important dinosaur discoveries in the world were unearthed right there. There, we highly recommend you booking a flightseeing tour over the Badlands and driving the hoodos trail, a scenic road that will take you to the Hoodoos site and the Rosedale Suspension Bridge. Day 2 Fly & Drive Canadian Rocky Mountains & Badlands: Drumheller - Edmonton.

Your Fly & Drive Canadian Rocky Mountains & Badlands heads north through the Boomtown Trail. The trail is an area rich with stories of the First Nation peoples, buffalo hunts and settlements, railway expansion and new-land promises, settlers and boomtowns, and coal mining and dinosaur digs. The landscape is a mix of prairie, marshland, knob and kettle topography, badlands, aspen parkland, river valleys, coulees, shallow lakes, and big wild Albertan sky. Day 3 Fly & Drive Canadian Rocky Mountains & Badlands: Edmonton - Jasper.

After visiting Edmonton, also known as the River City, head to the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The first National Park that you will visit during your Fly & Drive will be Jasper, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.  There you will discover a world of glaciers, canyons, turquoise lakes and moose in the meadows. Overnight accommodation in Jasper.

 

Day 4 Fly & Drive Canadian Rocky Mountains & Badlands: Jasper.

We recommend you start your day enjoying the view over Athabasca Valley from Jasper SkyTram. We also recommend you visit Mount Edith Cavell, the most prominent peak within Alberta, and Maligne Valley, where it is possible to book a boat tour to Spirit Island (on Maligne Lake). Overnight accommodation in Jasper.

 

Day 5 Fly & Drive Canadian Rocky Mountains & Badlands: Jasper - Lake Louise.

Your Fly & Drive Canadian Rocky Mountains & Badlands heads south through Icefields Parkway, the most famous Canadian scenic road. You will finally arrive in the village of Lake Louise, where we recommend you visit lakes Louise and Moraine, known for its sparkling turquoise waters. Overnight accommodation in Lake Louise.

 

Day 6 Fly & Drive Canadian Rocky Mountains & Badlands: Lake Louise - Canmore.

Devote the morning to visiting Yoho National Park, amongst whose main highlights  you will find Wapta and Takkakaw Falls, the latter being one of the highest waterfalls in Canada. Later on, continue your Fly & Drive to Banff, where we recommend you visit Bow Falls and Lake Minnewanka, whose name means "Lake of the Water Spirit" in Nakoda. Overnight accommodation in Canmore.

 

Day 7 Fly & Drive Canadian Rocky Mountains & Badlands: Canmore - Calgary airport.

This is the last day of your Fly & Drive Canadian Rocky Mountains & Badlands. We recommend you arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to departure. Remember to return the car with a full tank of gas and in the same conditions the rental company delivered it to you. Flight night.

 

Day 8 Fly & Drive Canadian Rocky Mountains & Badlands: Arrival in your home country.

End of Fly & Drive Canadian Rocky Mountains & Badlands and end of our services.

Minimum age for car rental is 21.

A minimum of one year valid driver's license from country of origin must be presented at time of rental.

The driver must also present an International driver's license issued in the same jurisdiction.

The driver must also present 2 credit cards to be able to rent a car.

The driver must also present  a passport valid for at least 6 months after entering the country.

All drivers under the age of 25 will be subject to a surcharge of 25 CAD$ per day, subject to change.

Certain car classes may not be available to drivers under age 25.

Certain locations and classes of car require 3 forms of identification as a condition to rent a car.

Wildlife and nice weather conditions are not guarantee.
